ZCode is a free desktop app from Z.ai (formerly Zhipu AI), launched July 2, 2026. You describe an outcome and its agent plans the work, edits files, runs commands, and iterates, with file, terminal, browser, and Git context in one window. It is built around Z.ai's GLM-5.2 model, billed through the GLM Coding Plan, and can also use Claude, Codex, and Gemini with your own keys. You can steer running tasks remotely from WeChat, Feishu, or Telegram.
